National: SLD E-Rate Training

SLD Announced E-rate Training Dates

Although I will be scheduling E-rate training in Pennsylvania during the month of October, I wanted to let you know that the SLD is holding a 1.5 day training session in Washington, DC on September 13 and 14th at the Marriott at Metro Center. Registration on the SLD website (www.usac.org/sl) will begin on Monday, July 23 and will only accommodate 250 registrants (so mark your calendars if you’d like to attend). Negotiated prices for hotel rooms will be announced on July 23 as well.

The purpose of the SLD training is to provide the latest program updates and guidance on how to successfully participate in the E-rate program. It is not, however, a beginners course. So if you are new to E-rate, I encourage you to wait and register for one of my PA E-rate trainings for beginners, which will be announced in August.

The SLD will be holding identical trainings in various US cities, including Cleveland, through the end of October as follows:

Orlando, FL – September 18-19
Boston, MA – September 27-28
New Orleans, LA – October 2-3
Cleveland, OH – October 9-10
San Francisco, CA – October 17-18
Phoenix, AZ – October 24-25
