The Village Library of Morgantown is seeking an energetic, self-starting Library Director. The Village Library is a busy, growing library and a member of the Berks County Public Library System. The library is the central community gathering place, providing materials and programs for all ages.

The successful candidate will have a desire to work in a small public library, to create and inplement literacy programs. The position requires administrative abilities, working knowledge of library procedures, excellent customer service and computer skills, experience and enthusiasm working with children and adults. A Pennsylvania Public Librarian Provisional Certification is required. Postgraduate work in Library Science or an MLS degree is highly desired.

The position schedule is 35 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends. Salary range is $15.50 – $16.50 per hours. Benefits include two weeks paid vacation, paid holidays & training and flexible scheduling.
