PaLA Conference Scholarships

The Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships to attend the annual Pennsylvania Library Association Conference. The conference will be held this year the conference will be held in Harrisburg from Saturday, October 17th through Wednesday, October 21st. The conference will take place at the Hilton Harrisburg.

There are conference grants that are sponsored by the Brodart Company, Boyd Mills Press and an anonymous donor. The Brodart Company is offering grants to attend the conference for support staff either for a day at the conference or for the full duration of the conference. There are two grants available from the Boyd Mills Press for Youth Services librarians to attend the conference who are first time attendees. There is also an anonymous Youth Services Grant available for a youth services librarian to attend to conference.

You must be a member of the Pennsylvania Library Association to apply for these grant opportunities. The deadline for the application submission is Thursday, September 10th.
