Chester County Libray in Exton is seeking a Business Librarian. This position in the Reference Department is responsible for providing business and general reference services to the public and member libraries in a fast-paced, high-volume suburban Philadelphia public library. Developing and marketing specialized services to business, presenting programs in libraries and the community, and maintaining current content of the library’s business website are some of the responsibilities of this position.

This full time exempt position requires M.L.S., A.L.A. accredited, with 2+ years broad-based general and business reference experience, thorough knowledge of online and print, general and business reference resources, and strong online search skills. Familiarity with automated systems and Windows environment, strong commitment to public and customer service, excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills, ability to work well under pressure is necessary.
