The kick-off for the 2011 book selection of the One Book, Every Young Child selection, Whose Shoes? A Shoe for Every Job, by Stephen R. Swinburne, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 29, 2011, in the Main Rotunda in the Capitol from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. If you are nearby, please join us!
For more information about the One Book, Every Young Child program, see: www.paonebook.org.
Your library or collection management department should have received copies of the hardback book as well as stickers, posters, guides, and other supplies to use in conjunction with the program. These were distributed recently.
The district received a traveling trunk for this year’s title. After it has been processed, it will be made available to libraries in Dauphin and Perry County (Cumberland County Libraries have their own local trunk). Stay tuned for instructions on how to reserve the trunk for use with one of your special programs.
