POWER Library
Pennsylvania Online World of Electronic Resourcesis a resource provided to all public libraries in PA. It contains a wealth of information including a diverse offering of databases for online research.
- Read and search current issues of popular magazines
- Access research from peer reviewed journals
- Show children the difference between information provided via a Google search and a search of a reviewed database.
- Create alerts in EBSCO databases so current electronic issues of your favorite magazines are sent directly to your inbox.
- Find information on a wide range of topics from car repair, consumer research, business development, and education.
The Office of Commonwealth Libraries provides this resource to all of its member libraries. Member libraries should post a link to the resource on their websites for local access.

Problems and Troubleshooting:
The Schuylkill Intermediate Unit #29 provides support for POWER Library. If you need assistance accessing POWER Library or any of its databases (except for the Access Pennsylvania Database), please use the Technical Problem Form at this site.
To access this form, you will need to enter your username “(your county)” and the POWER Library website password. If do not know the POWER Library website password, or you experience problems with the form, please call 570-544-9131 ext. 1274. This connects you to the Schuylkill Intermediate Unit #29. You can also contact Carrie Haverman, District Consultant, who will provide you with the password.
